I’m back from three weeks in Jordan and I wish to thank the people who made this great journey possible: First the organizer Obeid Naser Alamamreh and his family. I contacted many people to get a southern desert crossing on the way, but nobody was willing to try it besides Obeid. It took some time in planning off the beaten track but finally it became possible. During those days in the desert Naser Odeh Al-Zwaida was the guide and the man with the knowledge of how to trek the area without any outside support. With him I roamed through the sands and rocks from well to well. Further impressions of the journey will follow!
